Awards 2010

In August 2010 we entered a number of our wines into the Mercian Vineyards Association Annual Competition. This took place at Wroxeter Roman Vineyard near Shrewsbury. We entered eight of our wines, including some blended wines, one from Southwold Vineyard in Grasby and seven from Somerby Vineyard. The wines from Three Sisters Vineyard received five Highly Commended and three Commended awards. The wines we made for Somerby Vineyard received three Commended awards. Wines receiving Highly Commended can be sold as Regional or Quality wine following an independent post-bottling analytical test.

We are hoping for even better results next year, maybe we will win a few medals!
